ECCE Scheme Information

Under the ECCE Scheme, all children are now able to benefit from 

a free pre-school place in the year before they commence national school. At Poppins we believe that this is a highly important year 

in your childs development and that each child deserves the opportunity to learn in a happy, safe and caring environment.

The age of eligibility for the scheme is set at children between 3 years and 3 months and 4 years and 6 months at the 1st of September each year. Since January 2010 the scheme is open to children between 3 years and 7 months and children 4 years and 10 months.

At Poppins we offer a complete pre-school programme covering all aspects of development under The Early Childhood Curriculum Framework delivered by highly motivated teachers. These pre-school sessions are currently offered in the morning and afternoon.

Poppins are encouraging parents to book their children into Government’s Scheme immediately in order to guarantee a place. Places for this scheme are limited so please register on 061-317274.
